Balancing counterweights is one of those jobs that seems simple until you're deep in it. My cousin had a classic muscle car that would shake at high speeds, and we blamed everything from the tires to the fuel mix. Turned out it was a tiny off-balance in the driveshaft, something we overlooked for months. We fixed it with some makeshift weights from a hardware store, and now it purrs like a kitten. Honestly, I've never been fully sold on chasing perfect balance like that. Tbh, sometimes you can overthink it and waste a ton of time for a gain most people won't even feel. My old truck has a slight shimmy at a certain speed, but it's never caused a real problem. I'd rather just drive it than obsess over every tiny vibration.
