Finally got that sticky 5th floor call button to work right
It was failing about 30% of the time for months. Replaced the whole contact block with a new one from the parts van last Tuesday. Has anyone else had a run of bad buttons from a certain supplier lately?

Tell me about it, we had a whole batch of those contact blocks fail within a year. The plastic actuator arm was snapping off on half of them. Started ordering from a different supplier after the third callback. Seems like the quality control just vanished overnight. I'm keeping the old ones I pull out just to cannibalize for springs now.

But what if the new supplier is just as bad in a year? Sometimes you just get a bad batch, maybe the old ones will bounce back.
