Just realized I chose the wrong controller board for a 1986 Otis after 3 hours of wiring

I went with the smart relay over the old GAA board because it was cheaper but now I'm fighting voltage drops and wondering if I should just swap back, has anyone else dealt with retrofitting older units with newer parts?

Swapped in a solid state timer relay on mine too, exactly like @susan_nguyen said. Fixed all my voltage drop headaches and the wiring was way simpler than fighting the old GAA board.

Opted for a solid state timer relay on my old one and it solved everything.
