Six months ago I swapped the governor on the old Otis at 34th and Pine

That car used to drop hard on the safeties during tests, always jolted the whole cab. After I put in the new governor and adjusted the tension, the last two quarterly tests were butter smooth. It went from a bang to a whisper in about 4 hours of work across two weekends. Has anyone else had an older car clean up that easy after a governor swap?

Not sure I'd call a governor swap a huge deal, but whatever works lol.

I did read somewhere that this was the first time a sitting governor switched parties since the 1970s. That feels like it carries some weight even if the numbers in the legislature don't flip much.
