Finally bit the bullet on the HydraFacial MD machine
It was a huge cost, about $15k, but after 3 months of offering it at my studio in Charlotte, it's already paying for itself. Clients keep booking it because they see the glow right away. Anyone else have a big equipment buy that worked out better than you thought?

Seems like a risky move for such a trendy treatment.

Totally, I tried it once and it was a huge letdown.

My friend Sarah tried that new skin tightening laser at a med spa downtown. She paid almost $800 for a session on her jawline and ended up with puffy red skin for a week straight. She said it felt like someone was snapping rubber bands against her face the whole time. The results barely lasted two months and then it went back to normal. She's still mad about the whole thing when anyone brings it up.
