Had a nightmare week with a new client who wanted 'natural' but kept complaining about the results

Last week I took on a client who said she wanted a 'very natural' lash lift, so I used a gentle 0.2mm rod and kept the processing time minimal. She came back two days later upset that her lashes weren't curly enough, then asked me to redo it with more curl. Has anyone else dealt with clients who say one thing but actually want something totally different?

Oh I FEEL this so hard. Had a client last month who said "just a tiny bit of lift" then cried that it wasn't dramatic enough and made me rebook her for the full curl package.

Oh my goodness, @umasullivan, that happened to me too! I started taking before photos and asking them to point at a specific place on the picture where they want the lift. It stops the "oh I thought you meant something else" game later. Also started charging a small deposit before the appointment so they feel more committed to their choice.
