That bridesmaid in Denver ruined my lash lift kit

I was working a wedding party in Denver last month and one bridesmaid told me my lash lift solution felt 'too warm' on her eyes. Turned out I was leaving the perm lotion on for 12 minutes instead of 8 because I got distracted talking. Has anyone else messed up a service because of chatty clients?

Wait, so you're telling me a 4 minute difference is the difference between a perfect lash lift and a full-on chemical burn situation? That's brutal. I mean, I've had clients talk my ear off about their dog's gluten-free diet while I'm trying to focus, but not enough to add 4 extra minutes to a perm. That's like a whole extra conversation about kombucha or something. Hopefully the bride didn't notice the redness in time for photos, or you'd have a whole different kind of headache on your hands. Did the bridesmaid at least tip you before she complained?

Right, "full-on chemical burn situation" is wild, but you're right about the tipping part. I bet she held that 20% over their head like a hostage negotiation while the bride was trying to get her dress on. Wouldn't be surprised if the bridesmaid brought up the dog's gluten-free diet after the burn happened, like that excuses the whole thing.
