Can we talk about how I finally figured out the best way to stop my mailbox flag from falling down?
I tried using a piece of wire for a while, but switching to a tiny zip tie from the hardware store fixed it for good, so what's your weirdest household fix that actually worked?

Honestly thought a glob of super glue was the permanent answer. It held for a month before the whole flag just snapped off. That little zip tie solution is a total game changer, makes my old fix look ridiculous.

For a solid week I was convinced a bent paperclip was the ultimate solution. I must have gone through a whole box trying to get the right angle. The zip tie trick felt so obvious once I saw it, I couldn't believe I wasted all that time. It just goes to show the simplest fix is usually right in front of you.
