Found a cassette tape in a box from my old apartment in Spokane

It was a mix I made for a road trip back in 2005, and I had to dig out my dad's old boom box to play it. The weird part was, halfway through a song, a recording of my friend Carl's voice came on, giving me directions to a gas station that closed ten years ago. Has anyone else had an old recording pop up with something totally random like that?
