My barista said my coffee order was 'a cry for help'

I always get a large iced coffee with three extra shots, and the guy at my local spot finally asked if I was okay. He said it sounded like I was trying to power a small city, not start my morning. I switched to just one extra shot and a smaller size. Honestly, I feel less jittery but I miss the chaos. Has anyone else had a worker comment on your usual order?

Was it kind of nice, in a weird way, that he noticed? Like, a stranger saw your order and actually showed some care. I get that pull towards the chaos though, that big buzz felt like a superpower even if it left you shaky. Cutting back is smart, but it's okay to miss the old rocket fuel routine. Maybe you can have a chaos coffee as a sometimes treat.

I guess @elliots49 is right, but my barista's care feels like being scolded by a very polite parent.
