My brother told me to always check the back of the fridge for a second switch
Honestly, I laughed when he said it because my fridge in my old apartment had been running warm for weeks. He came over, reached behind the bottom drawer, and flipped a tiny switch I never saw. The thing kicked on and got cold in like an hour. Ngl, I felt pretty silly. Has anyone else had a weirdly specific fix like that work for them?

Wait, isn't that switch usually for the defrost heater, not the main cooling?

Yeah my buddy had that happen with his dryer, just a random reset button on the front panel. He was about to buy a new one lol. @jake_kelly24 might be right about the defrost thing, but hey if it works it works.
