Pro tip: use a dry erase marker on your bathroom mirror to remember stuff

I kept forgetting to grab my meds before work. Tried sticky notes but they fell off. My sister told me to write on the mirror with a dry erase marker. Works perfect. Been doing it for 2 months now at my apartment in Austin. To-do lists, reminders, whatever. Wipes right off with a tissue. Anyone else got a weird spot they write stuff down?

Oh wait, do you ever find that the marker smudges if the mirror gets steamy from a hot shower? I started doing this last year but I had to switch to a different brand because the cheap ones would streak and leave rainbow marks that were impossible to wipe off after a few days lol. I keep mine near the light switch instead of dead center so it doesn't get fogged up. Also pro tip write in all caps with a fat tip marker it's way easier to read when you're half asleep. I even color code with different markers for work stuff vs personal stuff but that might be extra haha. Honestly though this trick saved me from missing so many appointments it's ridiculous.

Wait hold up, @wren307 you use DIFFERENT COLOR MARKERS for work vs personal stuff? That's insane in the best way lol. I'm over here squinting at my faded blue scribbles trying to figure out if "buy milk" is from Tuesday or a whole different month. The shower steam thing gets me too, I just gave up and use a dry erase board next to the mirror instead because my mirror looks like a tornado hit it.
