Serious question, has anyone else had their phone unlock itself in their pocket?
For months I thought my friend was just messing with me when he said his phone would unlock and start calling people from his pocket. I figured he was just butt-dialing and making excuses, lol. Then last week, my own phone, a Galaxy S22, started doing it. I was walking my dog and felt it vibrate a bunch. I pulled it out and it was on the emergency call screen, and it had tried to call 911 three times. The screen was facing my leg, and I guess the combination of movement and the touch screen just went nuts. I've since turned off 'tap to wake' and it stopped. Has anyone else dealt with this? What settings did you change to fix it?

It's not just tap to wake... the whole "raise to wake" feature can cause it too. My phone kept lighting up in my pocket from any little movement, and then the screen would touch my leg. I had to turn off all the motion-based wake settings. The phone just gets too sensitive sometimes, trying to guess what you want.

Why not just lock it first?
