That bus driver who never lets anyone sit in the back seat
Okay so there's this driver on the 42 route in my town who literally blocks the back row of seats every single time. Three weeks ago I got on and he had his bag spread across all four seats back there. Last Friday same thing happened around 5:30 pm when I was coming home from work. I asked him if I could move his stuff and he just said "no those seats are broken" but I saw someone sitting there the day before. Yesterday I noticed he lets some people sit back there but not others, like he picks and chooses. It's weird because the bus gets packed at rush hour and those four empty seats would help a ton. Has anyone else had a driver who does this selective seating thing on their route?

That's just how some people get when they have a little bit of power over a small thing and it goes to their head. I see this kind of attitude everywhere now, like the guy at the grocery store who guards the self-checkout lane or the crossing guard who holds up traffic ten extra seconds for no reason. Once you notice it, you can't unsee how many people make tiny rules up on the spot just to feel in charge.
