My take: Design for durability, not disposable fashion

I see too many clothes made to look good for a short time then get thrown out. This is a huge waste and bad design. For example, dresses with weak zippers that break after a few wears. Designers should focus on strong stitching and fabrics that hold up. Most folks buy new items each season, but I want pieces that last. We need to push for better built fashion in our ideas. It's time to make stuff that stays in your closet for years.

My Levi's trucker jacket is going on 8 years now. Just gets better with age, no loose threads or fading. That's the kind of stuff I look for now.

That's why paying more for quality stuff pays off long-term.

Doubt most people care enough to stop buying cheap clothes.
