Tried bias binding vs straight grain on a curved hem and wow what a difference
I was making a circle skirt last week and kept getting those puckered bits along the hemline (you know the ones). My normal straight grain binding just wouldn't lay flat no matter how much I pressed it. A lady at my local fabric store in Portland told me to try bias-cut binding instead. It curved around that hem like butter, no puckers at all. Has anyone else had that lightbulb moment with bias tape?
