Spent $450 on a new post driver and it's been a total waste.
Bought it for a big cedar fence job in Tacoma last month, thinking it would save time on the rocky ground. The thing jams on anything bigger than a pebble and the handle vibrates so bad my hands are numb after ten posts. My old manual driver was slower, but at least it worked. Anyone have a brand that actually handles tough soil without breaking the bank?

Ugh, my cheap one bent on the first post.

Yeah that's the classic "buy cheap, buy twice" situation. I learned the hard way too with some tools last year. Spending a little more upfront saves so much hassle and wasted money. It's not even about fancy brands, just getting something that won't fail immediately. Total false economy to go for the absolute cheapest option.
