Vent: A client in Tempe said my post tops looked 'sloppy' because I was cutting them with a circular saw.

He was right, the cuts were chipping the vinyl. I switched to using a miter saw with a fine-tooth blade and the difference is night and day. What's your go-to tool for getting a clean, square cut on composite materials?

Used to agree with @richardrodriguez, but clean cuts just look pro.

Honestly, is a little chip-out on a post top the end of the world? We're talking about something that gets bolted down outside, right? I've seen guys use a skillsaw for years and the posts look fine once installed. Unless you're doing museum work, sometimes good enough is actually good enough. That client sounds a bit picky.
