Warning: The new park fence in Riverside is a total safety hazard

I was there yesterday and the gate latch is mounted so high a kid couldn't reach it, plus the bottom rail is already warping after one winter. Has anyone else seen a public install fail this fast?

Ugh, that reminds me of the new benches they put in by the library. The slats are already splitting, and it's only been a few months. Classic.

Those benches were installed over a year ago, actually.
