Disagree on it being a total loss. You still learned what a watermelon does under pressure, which is valuable. Sometimes the mess is the lesson.

Wait, you actually put a watermelon under pressure on purpose? What kind of pressure are we even talking about here? That sounds like a recipe for a huge sticky disaster. I can't imagine cleaning that up.
