Found a roll of film from a trip to the Oregon coast three years ago and finally got it developed.
The whole roll was fogged except for one perfect shot of my friend laughing, which I think is better than if the whole thing had turned out. Anyone else have a happy accident like that with old film?

Oh man, that's awesome. I had a roll from a family cookout that got totally fried by airport x-rays... except for one blurry shot of my dad flipping a burger that just looks like a painting now. Kinda love it more than the clear ones.

Actually, airport x-rays don't usually ruin film. It's the CT scanners that fry it. That blurry painting effect sounds perfect though.

Wait, have you had film go through a regular x-ray machine recently? I swear even those lower dose ones can fog high ISO film. I lost a whole roll of 800 speed from a concert that way, just got this weird gray haze over everything. It really depends on the film and the machine.
