My film jammed on a ferry to Bainbridge Island
I was halfway through a roll of Portra 400 on the ferry deck when the wind caught my camera strap and slammed the back door shut mid-roll. The film leader ripped right off. I had to sit in the car, open the back in total darkness, and feel around to get the film back on the spool with my car keys. It worked, and I got the shot of the Seattle skyline fading away. Has anyone else fixed a film jam in a weird spot?

That sounds way more stressful than my last flat tire.

Flat tires are basically a test of your whole day, right?
