Just realized the open house in Greenville was staged with fake fruit

Went to a showing for a starter home listed at $275,000 and the whole place smelled like fresh cookies, but the bowl of apples on the counter was plastic. It felt so fake and made me question what else they're hiding. Do you think this kind of staging actually works on people, or does it just make you trust the seller less?

Ugh, that's so off-putting, and I totally agree with @grace565.

Honestly, that fake fruit is a huge red flag about upkeep. If they cheaped out on real apples, they probably skipped on real maintenance too. It makes the whole place feel like a cover-up.
