My inspector said my 'dream' house had a $15k foundation crack I totally missed

He pointed out the hairline fracture in the crawlspace I wrote off as nothing. Now I always budget for a second opinion before getting attached to a listing.

Honestly, I'd rather find the big problems myself. That way the shock comes before I'm already in love with the place.
