Rented a thermal camera to find drafts before buying my first house - skeptic turned believer

I figured it was just another upsell gimmick from the home inspector, but he showed me cold air pouring through a socket I never would have spotted. After sealing that one spot my heating bill dropped $40 in December alone. Anyone else find a pricey tool that actually paid off fast?

Add a dollar store incense stick to the mix next time. Works great for finding those tiny drafts that cameras miss plus it"s way cheaper.
