Spent $500 on inspection for a 1920s bungalow and the report missed a major foundation crack I found three days later
I was standing in the basement of that house in Portland after the inspector left, just looking around, and I noticed a hairline crack running right along the foundation wall that he somehow didn't mention at all, so has anyone else dealt with a home inspector skipping something obvious on an older house?

My last inspection cost me $500 and all I got was a lousy report that missed a crack I could've found with my eyes closed, which is just my luck honestly. Guess we both paid for the "maybe it's fine" package.

$500 and a crack I could've missed myself. That's my luck too.
