Found a weird fact in a 1970s cookbook from a yard sale in Akron
I picked up this old community cookbook for a dollar, and in the back was a handwritten note saying the town's chili cook-off in 1974 had over 300 entries. That seems like a huge number for a small event. Has anyone else found notes or stats in old books that made you look up local history?
