Hit 50 vintage radios after a $3 flea market find this weekend

I was at the big swap meet in Pasadena and grabbed a little 1950s tabletop radio for three bucks. When I got home and put it on the shelf, I counted them all up and it was exactly number 50. It made me think about how this all started with one beat up radio I got for a dollar five years ago. Anyone else hit a collection number that kind of surprised them?

Wow, fifty radios is a serious amount of static. My wife starts side-eyeing me if I bring home a third coffee mug. I guess the real question is, do you have fifty different places to plug them in, or is it just a very heavy art display? Honestly, that's a cool milestone from a three dollar start.

Ha, @johnson.adam, I feel that. My place looks like a radio graveyard. I've got them stacked on bookshelves, lined up on the floor, and a few in the bathroom for, uh, quality listening time. At this point it's less about plugging them in and more about avoiding a tower of vintage electronics falling on my head. The static is just my personal white noise machine collection.
