My flea market strategy used to be 'grab everything shiny' and it was a mess
I'd just buy any old thing that caught my eye, like that box of 50 mismatched salt shakers for $15. Now I go in with a list for my booth, like 'mid-century glass' or 'vintage tools.' The change happened after I had to rent a storage unit just for my junk. Does anyone else have a specific list they hunt for, or am I just too organized now?

Honestly, that sounds like a great way to miss out on the best finds. The whole fun of a flea market is spotting that weird, one-of-a-kind thing you never knew you wanted. Having a strict list turns it into a chore, like grocery shopping. My best stuff came from just wandering and grabbing what spoke to me, even if it was a box of salt shakers. Too much planning kills the treasure hunt vibe.

Totally get that, my best find was a weird lamp shaped like a frog because I just went with the flow.
