Okay, I need to vent about this 'vintage' camera I bought for $80

The guy swore it worked, but the film advance is totally seized. I'm out the cash and it's just a paperweight now. Do you guys ever buy stuff that's supposedly functional without testing it first, or is that always a bad move?

Honestly, eighty bucks for a learning experience isn't the worst. Vintage gear is always a gamble. Could probably sell it for parts and get some cash back.

Parts cameras can still fetch a decent price.
