Picked up a dusty old camera at the Springfield flea market for $15
It was a Pentax K1000 with a roll of film still inside. I got the film developed and the pictures were from a family vacation in 1992, complete with big hair and neon windbreakers. Has anyone else ever developed a found roll and gotten a glimpse into the past?

My local thrift store had a box of old home movies from the 70s. Watching them felt like opening a time capsule, seeing how people really lived in their own living rooms. It's wild how these ordinary objects hold onto pieces of someone's life long after they're gone. Makes you wonder what stuff we're leaving behind today.

Pieces of someone's life" is a bit heavy. They're just old tapes of birthday parties and bad wallpaper. We're probably leaving behind a ton of cloud storage full of selfies and food pics. Future thrift stores will just have old phones with dead batteries.
