I finally said no to laying floor over mold I found

The client got mad and said to just cover it up. What would you do in this spot?

When the client said to just cover it up, I totally disagree. Covering mold is a bad move because it keeps growing underneath. That can lead to big health issues and damage the house later. I would explain the real problem and still refuse the job.

I mean, covering it up just kicks the can down the road, you know? Even though @the_sandra is right about costs, that's a health risk you can't really ignore.
