Vent: A client in Tempe insisted I install over a 1/4 inch dip in the subfloor.

The entire 800 square foot LVP job started buckling after a single Arizona summer. Anyone else had a homeowner argue against a subfloor prep step that turned into a callback?

Classic. They always think they know better until the floor turns into a roller coaster.

Seen that same stubbornness mess up so many simple projects.

That Tempe heat will find any weak spot and exploit it. Had a similar fight over a hump in a Mesa condo, and the homeowner's "it's fine" turned into a full tear-out nine months later. Sometimes you just have to walk away from the job if they won't sign off on the prep work. Saves the headache of being the bad guy later when it all goes wrong.
