Rant: Floral foam feels like a necessary evil

It's in half the arrangements I make, but knowing it won't break down ever really gets to me. We just throw it all away after the wedding.

That bit from @joel_kelly about boxing up plastic waste is so real, it's not just florals. You see it EVERYWHERE now. It's like our whole life is built on these single-use items that JUST pile up. From the foam bricks to all that clamshell packaging, you get this heavy feeling you're leaving a permanent mess behind.

Ever notice how even the stuff meant to be healthy comes wrapped in this mess? You buy some veggies and they're on a foam tray with plastic wrap. Get a new phone charger, it's sealed in impossible plastic. It feels like you can't make a single choice without making more trash. Where does it all even go?

Ugh YES, it's the worst part of cleanup. Just had a huge event and chucking all that green brick felt so bad, like we just boxed up a ton of plastic waste.
