That flower market in Bogota felt like a assembly line, not a craft

I finally made it to the Bogota flower market last month and honestly, I was kind of let down. Everyone raves about the colors and the volume, but walking through those giant warehouses, it felt more like a shipping hub than a place where people care about flowers. The vendors were just moving buckets and stacking boxes, nobody stopped to talk about the blooms or give tips on conditioning. I get that they move millions of stems a day, but I missed the personal touch you get at a small grower's stand here. For me, the best part was seeing the alstroemeria fields on the drive back, not the market itself. Am I the only one who thinks the big wholesale scenes lose the heart of what we do?

Got lost in a warehouse for 20 minutes trying to find the roses, pretty sure I needed a GPS to navigate all the boxes.

And that's exactly why I color code everything in my own storage space. Saved me more than a few times when I'm digging for holiday decorations. Can't imagine wandering around a place that size without some kind of system.
