Just realized a forum comment from 2008 about using a specific brand of photo album glue totally changed how I preserve old family pictures.

Totally get what you mean, but sometimes those old threads are a time capsule of bad advice. Found one from like 2008 where everyone swore putting your wet phone in rice was the ultimate fix. Or the endless debates about which free antivirus was best, with links that are all dead now. It's fun to see how sure everyone was about stuff that turned out totally wrong.
