My basement cleanup uncovered a printed thread about alien conspiracies from 1999.
Scanning those pages taught me how to save physical forum prints before they fade.

Remember finding a printed recipe argument from some old food forum? I had one where people went to war over putting raisins in potato salad. The whole thing was like twenty pages, @oscark15, and they were dead serious. I found it stuck in a cookbook. Makes you wonder what we're printing now that'll seem just as crazy in twenty years. My money's on air fryer fanatics.

Found my own stack of printed eBay arguments from 2003 while cleaning last month. Makes those alien theories look almost smart by comparison. I’ve officially been hoarding dumb internet fights longer than some people have been alive. My filing system is just a sad time capsule of bad opinions and receipts I definitely don't need. Should probably frame them as a warning to future generations, lmao.
