Rant: A guy on a fishing forum in 2008 swore he saw a UFO over Lake Superior
I was reading an old thread on a small Michigan fishing board about night fishing spots. One user, screenname 'SuperiorBob', posted that in July 2003, he saw a silent, triangular craft with three red lights hovering just above the water near Pictured Rocks. He said it sat there for almost ten minutes before shooting straight up and vanishing. Everyone else in the thread either called him crazy or said it was just a plane. He never posted again after that. Do you think these old 'weird sighting' posts are people seeing something real, or just honest mistakes?

Ngl, I've seen some weird stuff out on the water at night too. Lights that don't make sense. Most of the time it's just a plane coming in low, or some rich guy's drone. But honestly, that silent triangle thing gets reported a lot. I'd say the guy probably saw something real, but 'real' doesn't mean aliens. Could be military testing something we don't know about. They do that over the lakes all the time.

Honestly, that's so creepy. Tbh I saw something similar over Lake Huron last year, just silent lights that didn't move right.
