Appreciation post: Bought a whole box of old journals at an estate sale for $50, thinking I'd find gold
It was just a bunch of grocery lists and half-finished crossword puzzles, lol. Anyone else have a story about a notebook find that was a total bust?

A whole box for fifty bucks. That's the real gut punch. I once bought a locked toolbox at a flea market for twenty, convinced it was full of vintage wrenches. It was three bricks and a very angry hornet's nest.
