Found a kid's notebook in a thrift store with a whole comic strip about a sentient pencil
I picked up a cheap notebook at a Goodwill in Boise last month, and someone's old schoolwork was still in it. The whole back half was a hand-drawn comic about a pencil named 'Mr. Graphite' who was mad about being sharpened. The drawings were rough, but the story was actually pretty funny. I used to just toss stuff like that, but now I always flip through old notebooks completely, you never know what's hidden. Anyone else find something that made them change their usual routine?

Right? I started doing the same thing after finding a grocery list with "defeat gravity" written on it.

Defeat gravity" on a grocery list is the kind of weird that makes life interesting. It's proof people are just walking around with the strangest thoughts. I love finding stuff like that.
