Found a weird metal box in a ditch, spent $40 on a locksmith to open it
It was full of old, rusted fishing lures from the 70s, not the treasure I hoped for. Still, they cleaned up okay and I sold the lot online for about $60. Anyone else ever get a locksmith to crack open a mystery find?

Oh man, I did that once with a locked footlocker I found at a garage sale. Paid thirty bucks to get it open and it was just someone's old bowling trophies. At least you made a small profit, I just had to haul mine to the dump.

Found a locked safe once, just old tax papers.

Found a old suitcase once with nothing but a single rusty key inside (still have no idea what it opens).
