Found my 100th weird item at the Goodwill bins last week
I keep a list of strange stuff I find, like that ceramic frog holding a tiny umbrella. Hit 100 entries on Tuesday when I dug out a plastic lobster wearing a cowboy hat. It's just a silly personal goal, but it made me smile after months of looking. Anyone else track their finds or just enjoy the hunt?

My aunt used to collect salt and pepper shakers that looked like food, but the weirdest pair was shaped like two halves of a hamburger! She'd get so excited at flea markets. Your cowboy lobster sounds way more fun to find though, that's a great one for the list. Hunting for odd stuff makes the whole trip feel like a treasure hunt.

Yeah, the treasure hunt feeling is the whole point. I love that moment when you spot something truly weird tucked away on a shelf. It's not even about buying it sometimes, just finding it feels like a win. Your aunt's hamburger shakers are a perfect example of that weird joy. Those are the finds you remember way more than any normal thing.
