Not really a "hidden compartment" like people talk about online, more like someone just forgot it in a drawer lining. I've seen people tear apart whole pieces of furniture thinking there's treasure hidden in secret cavities and end up breaking something valuable. The real hidden stuff is usually just old receipts or mouse droppings honestly. You got lucky with that $60 but don't expect to find cash every time you flip a desk over. Most of the time you'll just find dust and maybe a rusty paperclip.

Flip it around though @elliots49 - half the fun is the hunt, not the score. Breaking open some janky old desk looking for gold is a great way to waste an afternoon and you never know, your $60 dude might have just found himself a new hobby.
