Picked up a beat-up metal lunchbox at a yard sale in Denton, thought it was empty
I got it for a dollar, and the latch was rusted shut. When I finally pried it open at home, there was a stack of old, faded baseball cards tucked under the liner. I mean, they're not mint or anything, but they're from the 60s. Does anyone else get the feeling people don't check under things or in linings before they sell stuff?

People just get in a hurry" is putting it lightly. It's like a treasure hunt for the rest of us who bother to look. Their loss is your cool find.

Yeah, the "tucked under the liner" part gets me. I always check pockets and linings in old bags or boxes. Found a twenty in a coat once. People just get in a hurry to clear stuff out, I guess.
