A client in Phoenix asked me to work for 'exposure' on a $5k project

I just said no and walked away, which felt impossible a year ago. How do you guys handle those 'opportunities' without feeling guilty?

My old self would have felt bad about that.

Growth is just learning to say no to the stuff that used to make you say yes.

My first year freelancing I said yes to three of those deals.
