I thought cold email was a waste of time until a $2,500 project landed in my inbox.

I was sending maybe 5 emails a week for months with no replies and felt like a fool. Then I got a lead from a company in Boise who said they kept my email for 6 months before needing my web design work. The key was I stopped sending generic pitches and started talking about their specific site issues. Has anyone else had a cold email finally work after changing their approach?
