My brother told me his smartwatch battery lasts two weeks now
We were talking about his new fitness tracker over the weekend, and he casually mentioned it only needs a charge every 14 days. I've always just accepted that my own watch needs juice every single night, so that number really stuck with me. It made me go back and actually read a few reviews for his model, which I normally skip. The reviewers all pointed out the trade-off is a simpler screen and fewer always-on features. I guess I never stopped to think that battery life was something you could actually choose as a main feature. Has anyone else picked a gadget based mostly on how long it runs between charges?

Battery life as a main feature" is a real game changer, isn't it? My old watch dying by dinner makes that two-week claim sound like pure science fiction. Guess we all got tricked into thinking a color screen was worth being chained to a charger every night.

Read an article that totally backs up what @noahhernandez said about trading flashy screens for real battery life.
