The day my brother used my favorite geode as a doorstop

My little brother decided my polished geode would be perfect for holding the door open. I found it covered in mud and scratches after a rainy day. He said it was just a rock and didn't get why I was upset. Now I keep my collection locked up, and he's banned from touching anything shiny.

That's actually painful to hear, like using a collector's item as a doorstop is wild lol. A polished geode is way more than just a random rock, it takes work to get it like that. Totally get why you locked everything up after that.

Painful to hear" feels a bit strong for a rock, even a polished one. It’s a cool looking doorstop now, not a crime. People use fancy stuff for simple jobs all the time, it’s not that deep.
