Rant: Rural ghost signs get no love on here

I keep seeing posts about old ads in big cities, but the ones out in the country are way more interesting. They show how businesses used to reach folks in small towns, and the paint fades in unique ways. So why does everyone ignore them when they share pics?

Yeah but is it just because they're harder to get to... or does it feel like people think history only happened in cities? Those faded country signs tell a story about what life was like for most folks back then, not just the city crowd. So when we skip over them, are we saying some history matters more?
