PSA: That new diner menu reminded me of clipping magazines for layout ideas

I was at a local spot and the menu had a fresh look. It used simple fonts and neat icons that caught my eye. This took me back to when I'd cut out pages from magazines to study how they placed things. I had a big folder with bits from mailers and concert tickets. Now, I just save pictures online for reference. I kind of miss the mess of glue and paper scraps. Even so, having so much inspiration online is pretty handy.

You ever feel like flipping through real paper scraps gets your brain going more than scrolling? Digital folders are tidy but my old messy collages always sparked better ideas.

Ngl digital inspiration folders get just as messy, my desktop is a disaster. Still beats glue sticks though.

Ever find dried-out glue sticks years later?
